A Look at Black Friday 2016’s Early Deals

We list all the major deals in the world of tech yet seen

Like every year, Black Friday 2016 is set to become one of the most extravagant shows of consumerism in the world. Almost every major online and brick-and-mortar retailer is sure to have deals on the latest pieces of tech, and consumers will be keeping their keen eyes on which particularly offers suites their needs.

Financial experts are already dubbing Black Friday 2016 as the ‘biggest day of spending in history’, which is a yearly trend at this point.

Being a tech channel, we felt an obligation to notify our readers of the best deals in the realm of technology this Black Friday. In many ways, tech deals are the bread and butter of Black Friday; the category has a separate day dedicated to it (Cyber Monday). So, without further ado, let’s look at some of the biggest deals in the world of tech, gaming, and everything in-between:

The ever-popular console bundles and deals are the first to make our list. This may be a strange time to buy a new console, as we haven’t had this many options in a long time. Not only do we have the usual suspects – PS4, Xbox One and Wii U, newcomers Xbox One S, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro have also joined the ranks this year. Many people might also be skipping this year’s deals as they’re waiting on Microsoft’s Project Scorpio next year. Nonetheless, there are some pretty solid deals coming this Black Friday for folks looking to buy a console.

Sam’s Club has some decent deals going for it, including the PS4 Uncharted 4 bundle, going for only $250. They also have Microsoft covered, as their Xbox One Battlefield 1 and Minecraft deals are also going for $250. Xbox One buyers will also be getting a nice bonus controller alongside their purchase. The offer will go live on November 24.

Even Dell has joined the console party with a stellar Xbox One deal. It is offering a 500GB Xbox One S with copies of both Battlefield 1 and Gears of War 4 for just $250. Usually, a similarly configured Xbox One S with the Battlefield 1 bundle goes for $300, and Gears 4 sells separately for $60. This deal gives you not only incredible value but two games that most people are sure to buy anyway.

This one is really where it’s at every year. People can make massive savings on computer hardware, especially the ones that know what they’re doing. This year’s best deals are admittedly yet to be announced, but even right now there are some very attractive offers on display.

Newegg is our destination for this section. First up is this insane 27 inch AOC FHD monitor deal, which goes for $180, seeing a price cut of no less than $120. Now we know you can get an even cheaper 1080p display, but this one is 27 inches. It is also IPS, so you have reliable colors on a screen. The response time is among its weaknesses, as a 5ms response time might not be ideal for gamers indulging in fast-paced shooters.

Storage devices have seen a reduction in costs on an almost yearly basis, making them the go-to item on Black Friday. This year is no different. We have chosen this SanDisk 512GB SSD, as it goes for a decent price of $130 down from $150. This is perfect for those who still haven’t had an SSD, as it offers a good balance of storage capacity, speed and price.

Now we know most of you are staring at the screen waiting for a graphics card deal to blow your minds. Unfortunately, there aren’t many good GPU deals yet. The best we could find was this Gigabyte GTX 1070 going for $420. We doubt you’ll see much better deals than this, as both NVIDIA and AMD have released their new cards only earlier this year.

Lastly, let us look at mobile phones.

Amazon has a very alluring iPhone 7 deal as we speak, with the 128GB version going for a paltry $589. Any other day, you would have to pay $749 for this model, making this as good a deal as any on this list.

For Android users, Newegg has the ZTE Axon 7 at only $400. You are getting a near flagship experience with this smartphone, with a Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM and 20MP camera.
