Microsoft Store: Get Free Game and Controller with Xbox One Purchase

Microsoft Store’s first offer of the holiday season has a free copy of recent Ubisoft titles, as well as free Xbox One controllers to go with Xbox One

Along with third party retailers, Microsoft itself has been quite active in the festive season. The company had some incredible deals for the Xbox One on Black Friday. This too on the back of a fantastic run for the past 4 months, where it has beaten Sony to the punch in console sales. And it seems Microsoft won’t be taking its foot off the pedal.

Earlier today, as part of the company’s celebration of the holiday season, a stellar deal was unveiled at Microsoft Store. Folks who are looking to buy a new Xbox One will be entertained with a free Xbox One controller, as well as a one of the following Ubisoft titles:

  • Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (reg. $29.99)
  • Assassin’s Creed Unity (reg. $19.99)
  • Watch Dogs (reg. $19.99)
  • The Crew (reg. $29.99)
  • Far Cry Primal (reg. $49.99)
  • Hasbro Family Fun Pack (reg. $29.99)
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege (reg. $49.99)
  • Tom Clancy’s The Division (reg. $49.99)
  • Just Dance 2016 (reg. $39.99)
  • Just Dance: Disney Party 2 (reg. $19.99)

This offer only stands for specific Xbox One consoles. So be sure to check whether it applies to your purchase or not. As for the controller, both standard white and black will be available.

Today’s deal is part of a larger scheme launched by Microsoft. Called the ’12 Days of Deals’, the scheme will provide enticing deals each day for the next couple of weeks. Looking at those deals, you might want to wait a bit longer. But even if you can’t, today’s offer is nothing to be scoffed at.

Probably the best deal, according to us, will be arriving this Sunday. You can save a good $180 off an Xbox One console, which is less than half the price. December 14 also looks like a good day to mark, as Forza Motorsport 6, Halo 5 and Quantum Break will be selling for only $20.

Do keep one detail in mind: the offers last only a day, which means there is plenty of room for regret if you passed up on your favorite deals.
